Lincoln Road in Miami Beach, FL was thought of by Carl Fisher, the wealthy original developer of Miami Beach who envisioned Lincoln Road to be the Miami Beach counterpart to Fifth Avenue in New York, or Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles.
